Pull-Through RV Sites

All RV sites are pull-through: drive in, drive out, no backing in. Built for larger rigs.

Drive in, park, and drive out the way you came

All RV sites at Birthplace of Texas RV Park are pull-through. You enter the site at one end and leave at the other, with no need to back in. That layout is ideal for larger rigs and makes for a smooth, stress-free arrival, which matters most at the end of a long driving day when the light is going and everyone in the cab is tired.

The park is on Highway 105 between Navasota and Brenham, so the approach is a highway turn rather than a winding back road. You come off the road, roll through the entrance, and pull onto a site. When it is time to leave, you unhitch your hoses, pull ahead, and go.

Made for fifth wheels, motorhomes, and everything smaller

The park welcomes all RV types, from compact trailers to luxury motorhomes. Pull-through access helps every one of them, but it helps the long rigs the most: a fifth wheel behind a dually, a Class A diesel pusher, a toy hauler, or a motorhome towing a car. Anyone who has tried to back a forty foot rig into a tight space with a spotter waving at the wrong moment knows what skipping that step is worth.

A few habits make any pull-through arrival go smoothly. Stop short of your site and walk it once, looking up for branches and down for soft ground. Decide before you turn in which side your hookups are on and line the rig's utility side up with the pedestal and the sewer inlet. Pull ahead slowly, let the spotter or a mirror camera confirm your clearance, and level the coach before you drop the stabilizers. A pull-through gives you room to correct, so use it: if you land a few feet off, pull forward and set again rather than shuffling in reverse.

Because the tow vehicle stays attached or can be pulled free ahead of the trailer, towing is simpler too. Once you are parked and unhitched, the truck is free for a quick trip into Brenham.

Finding the park and calling ahead

You will find the park at 10045 Hwy. 105 in Brenham, Texas, with direct access to the highway. Look for the entrance sign shaped like the state of Texas and the flagpole beside it. If you are running behind, or you are pulling something unusual, call (713) 306-4847 and tell us your rig type and the length of your stay. The park is open 24 hours, so a late arrival is not a problem.

Pull-through is part of why guests settle in. Some stay a night on the way across Texas and others stay for months. One guest wrote that they had been there for a month and planned on staying two more, and the easy entry and exit is part of why the first day goes well enough to make that decision. Ask about your dates by phone or send a reservation request, and rates are quoted when you call or reserve.
